Tribes 2 and Surfing

Looks like my Tribes 2 career is finally over . I really don’t have any good reason to continue anymore as my skills are degrading on same pace as my Tribes Vengeance skills are increasing. Tribes 2 public scene has been quite dead last few months and open beta of Tribes:vengeance finally gave the killing blow.

I had quite unpleasant time tonight on WRM vs H “match” which did end before it´s time … I don’t go deeper into the things which were the reasons for this but one thing I can say : I had enough. Well maybe some peeks at the public servers (if there are any left) some time but not in the near future.

update : I suspected that he is not really surfing Ivan but forgot to mention about it first time . Luckily Messu pointed the fact to me at IRC and he also knew that video clip is from some billabong surfing movie . In my opinion it is craaazy shit anyway.

Me Versus Abit – Part 37

20 hours worth of nightmares about reinstall and new hardware purchases are over(knock on wood and so on). Last night my computer just started to freeze but because of the last summers episode with msblast I did take my puter out of the net quite fast and noticed that it didn’t freeze anymore. So like with msblast I thought it was some nasty virus doing it´s work and checked f-secure site for new buggers and to my surprise there where none. I scratched my head for awhile and decided to continue today. My assumption about the problem was that it had something to do with my motherboards integrated Ethernet card was right and my puter works fine with pci Ethernet card which I had lying around in my puter junk yard.

Me Versus Abit ? Well this is my fifth Abit motherboard which is broken and that is 5 out of 5. I think next time buy motherboard it wont most definitely be Abit. Though five broken motherboards have thought me lot of computer hardware , I think I would like to use my computer to other things than to polish my 1337 screwdriver skillzz.
