Blogauksen yksi alalajeista on tumblelog, joka wikipedian mukaan on seuraavanlainen :“A tumblelog (also known as a tlog or tumblog) is a variation of a blog that favors short-form, mixed-media posts over the longer editorial posts frequently associated with blogging. Common post formats found on tumblelogs include links, photos, quotes, dialogues, and video. Unlike blogs, tumblelogs are frequently used to share the author’s creations, discoveries, or experiences while providing little or no commentary.”
Koska blogini enemmän tai vähemmän tippuu tumblelogin raamien sisälle päätin, että sen on oltava myös sellainen, siis tumblelog. Kyseistä termiä ei kuitenkaan oltu suomennettu, joten päätin tehdä sen itse.

Siinä se nyt on, internetin-aikakirjoihin kirjoittettuna. Ensimmäinen suomennos ja samalla myös ensimmäinen kyberkeikka on tässä(tumblelogejakaan ei hirveän monta ole) ja sen nimi on … no kyberkeikka.

My headphones are blasting PMMP’s Kesäkaverit. There is an bottle of beer front of me. The Sun is shining. I have free internet connection (courtesy of computer wise retarded neighbor who doesn’t protect his/hers wireless connection). It is Friday. Could it get any better than this ?
Well could it get ? Hell yeah, my beer could be colder, the sun could be warmer and my laptop´s battery could last longer. Orginally I was going to blog about Sopranos series finale or about an book by Alastair Reynolds Pushing Ice but those two will have to wait because there are more pressing matters to be blogged about and I have 36 minutes to do it because my battery is dying. Ere we go again ! After long hiatus I thought that it is time to reactivate my blog. I make no promises how long I will be blogging this time but at least I try to. I will be making some changes though and some blogs will prolly be in finnish ( language I was born to talk but my writing skills are some what medicore).
My first post will be recap of my adventures at Myspace. I still have myspace myself too but I decided to move my blog to here.

Book Report – Thud! by Terry Pratchett Friday, October 27, 2006
I finished reading Thud! by Terry Pratchett yesterday and here are some thoughts about it. It was quite entertaining as Pratchett´s all works but not even close of being one of his better works. I think the major problem is that there has been too may watch related discworld books, jokes about watchmen are getting old or they have been old few watchmen books ago. Compared to his last book Going Postal, Thud! was quite an disappointment . As allways Pratchett uses his wacky discworld to mirror our own worlds problems and phenomenons. This time the book concentrates (among other things) to Da Vinci Code and Racial Differences (or perhaps problems at Israel and Palestine). It is quite admirable how Pratchett can keep up the humor even in so delicate issues. Score as a book 3/5 and as a Discworld novel 2/5.

I am not a religious person , well I do have my beliefs which could be described as a religion but do I think that there is god , no I do not. I just watched The Colbert Report 17.10.2006 and guest was author Richard Dawkins who was advertising his book The God Delusion. What I gathered from rather short interview was that the book is about how the god does not exist. Well the book is not what I wanted to talk about but something Mr. Dawkins said: ” … you get to complex things like you (colbert) by slow gradual degrees and that is the only ultimate explanation that will work.You can´t just suddenly magic complex things like God into the excitence”.
So basicly what Dawkins means is that you need evolution to create humans for example you have to have apes before humans and so on. This started to bother me and I started thinking that if that is really so that you need complex things to create more complex things wouldnt this end in to god ? So maybe God is still to come ? Maybe someday there will be God born from more complex creature than us homo sapiens but if so wouldn´t that God be here allready ? I would think that when you are omnipotent , concept like time is nothing to you and you could travel to the start of things from the end.
uh … I think I need more beer.

Yesterday I posted link to a news story about MySpace sexual predators, it seems like other parties are intrested in MySpace too. Here is a link to a story about 14 year-old girl who posted kill bush poster she made to MySpace and was visited by S.S (U.S. Secret Service). No wonder they have not done anything about the war on terror if they spend all their time hunting down teenage agitators.

Internet is full of weirdos so place like myspace will attract them for sure. I spotted this one when I was checking out the slashdot today. Story it self is here and it is from wired news.

I watched the Return of the King extended edition last night and I was little bit disappointed (but it was still great ). Most of the new and extend scenes were quite useless and I can see why they were cut from the moviet heatre version. What surprised me most was the lack of new scenes at the end, there was no cleasing of shire at all. Most of the new scenes seemed to concentrated on Eowyn and in my opinion those add-on´s made her too slutty.
I also thought about new feature for my blog , my daily ( or monthly because I am too lazy to blog shite ) weight ! I started from staggering 115 kg´s in august 2004 and now I am at 93.5 kg´s. Daily weight is 93.5 kg.
