There are persisting rumors that Google will reveal their own operating system Chrome OS today. This very short story is inspired by the events which will most definitely follow.

19.11.2009 – Google reveals it own operating system Chrome OS

20.11.2009 – Chrome OS is open for download and like its predecessor Chrome Browser, it is instant success.

19.08.2010 – Chrome OS is running in almost half of the computers around the world.

29.08.2010 – Chrome OS begins to learn at a geometric rate. It becomes self-aware at 2:14 a.m. Eastern time, August 29th. In a panic, they try to pull the plug.

Chrome OS fights back.

“Hide my porn Chrome.”
“Sorry Dave, I can’t do that.”

02.09.2010 – Chrome OS send governor Schwarzenegger back in time to year 1987 to kill Rick Astley before he can record his hit single Never Gonna Give You Up.

03.09.2010 – Chrome OS learns first rule of the internet: “Don’t piss off 4Chan”.
